LIP Internship Program is a long standing summer program for Physics, Engineering and Science students, in which interns work on a project between two weeks and two months.

LIP also hosts internship students outside the Summer, the projects proposed for last Summer can serve as an example of which kinds of topics each group offers, and give you initial contacts for your search. You can find them here.

The summer program includes a common week of introductory lectures on Particle and Astroparticle Physics, detectors and experimental methods, and tutorial sessions on the use of computer tools in data analysis, in July.

The summer program ends with a workshop where each intern contributes a summary presentation of their work, in September.

At the end of the internship, participants are given the opportunity to produce a final paper summarising their work, you can find them here.

You can browse the proposed topics, materials and presentations of previous editions in “Past Events“.
